Seals, I agree entirely with you regarding the consolidation. Whenever it has occurred in the short term the sp tends to go down, well below the pre consolidation price.
I have been burnt a couple of times thinking that I couldn't lose any more money until the consolidation came and it really make the little value left on the sp become a lot closer to zilch.
I would oppose any such move.
