Federal MP Warren Entsch announced grant to charity overseen by his wife without declaring a potential conflict
"The charity was later found to be defunct.
Queensland's Office of Fair Trading (OFT) has now launched a probe into the incorporated association that controlled the Cairns-based charity, The Social Effect, when it received the grant in late 2021.
Mr Entsch also did not declare his wife's relationship with the charity when he announced the grant".
