Last night, SPI futures did a range of 30 points, high being 5677, low being 5647, with a close this morning of 5670, down 5 points on about average volume of 4,142 contracts. Based on that move, my high resistance line is 5695, low support line is 5635 with the pivot point at 5665. If she breaks 35 on the low side, could have a 23 in her. Looking at the chart, 3 gaps in the 80's still remain from yesterday, so one would think those will be taken out after open. Europe was mostly down, DOW was flat, Nasdaq up .27 pct, SPX down .08 pct with the VIX down 1.53 pct. Canada was up .29 pct, as was the GSCI, being up .68 pct, and GSCI Energy up .78 pct. With the wild swings at the open yesterday probably to continue, it is important to remember that traders must learn to keep a good sense of humour, as at the end of the day, it might be the only thing they have left.
