Houses are a place to live, providing quality of life, if you can live near your workplace. They have been turned into a baby boomers superannuation and speculators plaything. This is unnatural, and will likely be unable to defy the forces that will bring it back to being a place to live. It might take a very long, slow and painful process of zero net growth above wages growth for so long, some of us will be dead before that happens again.
