Not corruption, just the extremes of sentiment from irrational exuberance where punters thought it's going to a dollar, to the current doom-mongering thinking it's going to 20c... it's really not rocket science, just sell when it's way above the moving average and buy when it's down below it. There really haven't been any cataclysmic fundamental changes between then and now, and to blame corruption is extremely naive
