I am not sure how SBM can expect to pay off the $328 million debt given the high operating costs. I would be a little nervous being a SBM shareholder if the company doesn't perform to their 2014 guidance as per todays presentation.
I can see further weakness in the shares going forward and one would not wish for any further decrease in the gold price.
The ability to repay debt is a huge concern and one would imagine that there would be a few anxious SBM employees as well as shareholders.
