Not sure where you are getting your information regarding short selling. As far as I know a stock needs to be ASX approved to be sold short??

I do not buy into that HotCopper conspiracy thread where people were suggesting US bankers were en masse borrowing and shorting Aus microcap mining stocks. Who would be lending the stock on the other side of the transaction?

When you mention "2 million shares left" are you suggesting this mysterious fellow has been covering his short recently and needs to cover (i.e. buy back) the remining 2 million shares?

I see lots of general selling over the last few months. Fat Prophets punters who are getting out. Tax loss selling will put considerable pressure downwards if there is no (significant) news soon.
