    yes, funds do have rules preventing them from investing in companies below a certain value

    unlike retail investors though, funds dont give a hoot if the share price is 60c or 6c, because they look at the marketcap of the company

    marketcap = share price * no. of shares on issue

    that is what a company is worth, not the share price alone
