DJ Sundance Continues To Talk To Hanlong, Potential Partners

KALGOORLIE, Australia (Dow Jones)--Sundance Resources Ltd. (SDL.AU) continues to negotiate with a number of potential strategic partners needed to help it develop its key iron ore project in West Africa, including Chinese miner Sichuan Hanlong Group, which last month proposed a 1.44 billion Australian dollar (US$1.55 billion) offer, the chairman of the Australia-based company said Wednesday.
George Jones, who rejoined Sundance's board as chairman in July 2010, made the comment at a mining conference in Western Australia.
