Mate. Not sure how much I believe in the hard numbers approach to valuations these days: particularly in light of last eighteen months. All I've been told is that MD knows West African geology as well as anyone in that part of the world and that he could pull a 500,000 oz JORC here without sinking a drill bit (or virtually). And good management IMO is ninety percent of the battle.
If you're taking a long term approach to the stock rather than a quick in and out, then I think this will prove to be a very solid investment over the medium to long term. May well be a fair bit of speculation built into the stock and I am interested to see what happens if a 500,000 oz JORC is turned up rather than 6M oz initially. But in the long-term I think we will continue to move progressively to that larger number and SP will take care of itself. Just my assessment, and I plan on hanging onto things regardless of month-by-month and week-by-week fluctuations.
