While I appreciate what you are saying theredpill other issues can be a little more involved. The management of explorer to miner certainly require a different mindset and expertise...something which DML have been slow to recognise. It will be of great interest to see the latest quarterly report to see if improvements have been made with the changes made...most importantly a new mine manager.
What has been overlooked is the geology. At any new mine start-up a lot of work/digging is required to get to the 'goodstuff'. Cu in particular..it was once explained to me about the sulphides and sulphates... the details I have forgotten, but it certainly impacts the bottom line for a while. It is also known where substantial cost savings can be made eg power generation. Often knowing where the costs can be reduced that is half the battle.
It is for these (and a few other) reasons that I am more bullish on DML's future and that is why the banks have been lenient.
Mind you still touch and go!!
