Tens of thousands of demonstrators have rallied in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, warning the international community not to interfere in the troubled Darfur region.
The demonstrators shouted anti-British and anti-US slogans and initially rallied outside the presidential palace in Martyrs' Square.
They then headed to the UN offices in Khartoum shouting "Allah o Akbar" (God Is Greatest) and waving banners in English and Arabic proclaiming "Darfur is the graveyard of US" and "No to foreign intervention".
The protesters denounced international attempts to end the unrest in Sudan's western Darfur region.
Activists warned that they are prepared to die in a holy war if foreign troops intervene in Darfur.
The United Nations Security Council has given the Sudanese Government 30 days to disarm militias that have been attacking civilians.
The African Union has announced it plans to send up to 2,000 soldiers as part of a peace-keeping mission to restore order.
