In asking your question the elephant in the room is not just ROI, but ROTI (Return on Time Invested). The time value of money means that even with a stable FAR SP, the value of our money is falling, so the SP needs to beat the CPI clock.

Hence any spot FAR-sentiment, for my liking, needs to also consider ROTI, or  "time until bail".

At the moment my FAR-sentiment is low, so I'm likely to take the next exit that beats CPI and plus a return. I'll take 11-2c if it is reached in the next month. If in that time my sentiment raises I'll probably extend my "time until bail" a little, and look at a 20c horizon.
