A small example of the mind blowing inept economics of this current government.
At this moment pineapple farmers are ploughing them into the ground, cost of a 425 gm can of aussie pineapple $4.10 +
Bumper mango season , again they cant give them away , frozen diced mango imported from Canada is the only mango available from Coles ' , (that global warming is a problem when mangos grow in Canada).
So my point is if this government can not reduce power costs , red tape and bargaining agreements for our local manufacturing industries to REDUCE COSTS for the consumer we might be able to start getting back to the wealth the hard working people of this great country all deserve. Increasing wages is not the answer , reducing the cost of every day expenses is the solution.
