I don’t think there’s any reason to fret about March. As everybody knows it’s set up as a futility interim analysis. That means the threshold they need to achieve for proteinuria is set by the company, not by anybody else such as FDA. Unless they’re morons they will surely have set the threshold low to make it as easy as possible to achieve it. It should be a cinch. Whether whatever they achieve in March is enough to predict a successful result in the full trial when it completes, well that’s another matter. Whether they ever communicate what that futility threshold is who knows but it would have to be in the trial protocol if that’s ever made public.
