Don't get me wrong, I am disappointed we (CFE) have witnessed this turn of events.
In hindsight, easy to see Evraz did hold all the cards here. They could strike a favourable deal with the Chinese knowing that if MCC didn't agree to the JV, then Evraz would block the sale at the shareholder meeting.
Hopefully the remaining tenements will prove this to be just a small speedbump
