I do not understand why people say CFE missed out. CFE has a great deposit with a JORC resource and the SP was languishing in the very low 30s until these guys came along. I am sure many s/h made 100-200% profit, and those with options much more. Moreover, CFE still has a Southern deposit which, IMO, is just as large and now can afford to drill it and use the infrastructure that Evraz/MCC would set up.
And the comment about Evraz fooling people. The people fooled themselves by being presumptious.
