+++++++++++++++++++++++++ * Recently completed drilling at Winston Churchill included 88 drill holes for 4595 metres
* Mineralisation intersected in a zone close to the gabbro sediment contact includes 2m @ 11.18g/t and 4m @ 2.65g/t Au confirming previous results.
* Negotiations are well advanced to ensure the MLA15/1187 is granted to allow access to the southern strike extent of the Winston Churchill prospect
The board of Dioro Exploration NL wish to advise that final results have been received from the Stage 2 drilling completed at Winston Churchill. A total of 88 drill holes for 4595 metres were completed at Winston Churchill. This included 59 aircore holes, 14 reverse circulation holes, 13 diamond holes and 2 aircore precollars with diamond tails. The drilling contractor utilised a combination of aircore and diamond drilling for drilling within the Kopai Lake and reverse circulation for drilling on the lake edge.
Final results have been received for the program and significant results are reported below:
MUNGARI EAST JV WINSTON CHURCHILL DRILLING 1M RESAMPLES > 0.5 g/t Au
Notes: Prefix MERC refers to reverse circulation drilling and MEDD refers to diamond drilling.
MEDD048 and MEDD049 were drilled on a traverse 40m south of the previously drilled traverse containing the previously reported hole MEDD035 (11m @ 4.69g/t Au). Anomalous intercepts in these holes relate to zones of quartz veining with traces of pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite and minor tellurides, hosted by sheared sediments and zones of brecciation proximal to the gabbro contact. This stratigraphic position is similar to the reported position of the Raleigh Trend, although the footwall andesite has not been recognised. MEDD047 drilled below the MEDD035 intersected anomalous but low order results at the target horizon.
The recognition of the stratigraphic position of the Winston Churchill mineralisation provides the Mungari East joint venture with an excellent focus for future exploration. The Churchill Trend is interpreted to strike south from Winston Churchill towards a zone disrupted by cross cutting faults parallel to the Mary Fault, a major fault that offsets the Frog's Leg Trend in the vicinity of Frog's Leg North. The southern strike extent of the Churchill trend is currently held under a tenement application (M15/1187) by the Mungari East joint venture and negotiations with indigenous groups are well advanced to fast track the granting of this tenement.
