Have to admit, this does stretch the imagination some-what.

chuckles, there is an opening for lifelong-bodyguard for this guy when he returns to China.

Since you obviously feel strongly about his situation, it would seem like a good match for you.

chuckles, it would be better for all of us in Australia if you took this job and went back to China with him.

CHINA'S ambassador to Australia, Madame Fu Ying, says she does not see any reason for a diplomat to fear persecution if he returns to her country.
Former Chinese diplomat Chen Yonglin is seeking asylum in Australia, saying he fears for his life after walking out of the Chinese consulate-general in Sydney 11 days ago.

He has been in hiding with his wife Jin Ping, 38, and their six-year-old daughter, and says he fears persecution if he returns to Beijing following his four-year posting in Australia.

But Madame Fu said Mr Chen should not have any fears.

"I don't think there is any reason China would punish him," Madame Fu said.

"There are laws which would guarantee his freedom.

"But can you guarantee that he is not going to do anything that was against the law?

"I think for Chinese citizens, including Mr Chen, everybody has the ... guaranteed right to apply for foreign citizenship."
