Shaun 123,
I totally agree with you that the recent winning streak is a part of the market correction, but what worries me is the "over optimism" in the market these days. The market became insensitive to bad news such as recent jobless figures, the massive devaluations in property prices during the last few months ...etc
I understand that share prices reflect future value, not a current value, and that probably the worst is already behind us, but when markets go into extreme (as what we are witnessing now)it is not a healthy sign IMO.
The current winning streak has benefited mainly energy and banking sectors. However, REITs which is the most undervalued sector IMO have not moved much. The question is: if the market starts to retrace as we both expect, how this will affect REITs including VPG??
If i am a short term trader, i would be scared to buy in the share these days to be honest.
