It was interesting to read that Bell Potter deem unlikely the price of 78 cents based on high take up of direct charging. Seems to me that it's inevitable and the consumer will have little or no choice. Once one bank/ATM operator does it, they all will. Same old cosy oligopoly. Consumer choice will be limited to the amount a particular bank/ATM operator charges, and also a discretionary choice as to the number of times the consumer chooses to use an ATM i.e take out $100 in a single transaction instead of five x $20. There may be some cannabalisation of revenue, but given the example of uptake in the UK and Europe, $2 a pop will be the norm and corresponding increases in revenue will be dramatic. The scale of this business is immense, as stated by Baker - a billion dollar company is not out of the question. A billion dollar outfit from current levels of issued capital is 80 cents -$1.00. Never ending cash flow like Customers are putting in place is the stuff the private equity boys dream about. My guess is a share price between 28 and 78 cents and closer to the high side than not. That's not factoring in any premium for the take-over factor. It's taken a while but I'm happy to wait for 300 - 500% on my investment.
