RE: DIRECTOR’S MARGIN LOAN
A director of the Company, Dr Byron Pirola has advised the Company that entities
associated with him have a margin lending arrangement with Opes Prime with a
facility balance of approximately $2 million under which about 7.8 million shares in the
Company are pledged as collateral.
Dr Pirola has advised the Company that no margin call has been made under the
facility at this time and that he has directly advised the receiver of his willingness and
ability to immediately repay the facility balance and redeem shares under the
arrangement. He has separately given notice to both the ANZ Bank and ANZ
Custodians that he retains beneficial ownership of the 7.8 million Po Valley Energy
shares held under the ANZ Nominees Ltd account.
The Company is not in receipt of any notice of change in beneficial ownership of the
relevant shares.
The Company has been advised that no other directors or executives have any margin
loan arrangement secured by the Company’s shares.
The Company will continue to monitor this issue and advise the market in relation to
further developments.
