Yes good post trade4profit ---I guess the difference between us is that you are a day trader and I am in mostly blue chips for the long term.
I have bought only one spec stock and got my fingers burnt and I am now very cautious. I post on All because I got it when it was .83 and sold some recently to get most of my money back and will hold onto the rest long term. As far as Amp I do not own any shares but worked for them before retiring. I may at some time buy some when I think the time is right.
I have shares in most of the banks mostly for the dividends and recently bought into TLS and QNT.
Don't take what I said about ramping personally. I made the comment in general for most of the posters on SLT.
I have SLT on my watch list and may yet buy into it however it will be only with money that I can afford to lose. You said yourself this stock is driven by speculation and anyone who invest in it must be on their toes at all time and know when to get in and out at the right time. I am not sure that I want to set at this screen with sweat on the palms of my hands and my finger on the sell button day after day.
You seem to enjoy that stuff and have the time for it. I read somewhere that Mom and Pops that bought good quality shares and put them in a drawer did much better than those that traded and speculated. I hope you are better than the average trader and wish you all the luck.
