What I meant is that a director is not allowed to trade his own company's securities when he is (or deemed to be) in the possession of unpublished price sensitive information.
Although there is no explicit "time window", a week or two before a major announcement, in my view, is a little too close (or at least is in a grey area), and might attract ASX's attention. Of course, I do not mean that it will necessary put DB in trouble, as DB may not be directly involved in the negotiation.
Anyway, although I wish an access tomorrow just like all of you, I don't mind waiting for another couple of weeks. And I believe many here are as patient as me.
Better to start planning how to invest some of money MNM will bring to me. lol
