Put yourself in the position of a fund, the size of which is shrinking and hence the portion of fees allocated to your staff is under threat. What is there to do? but to sell out to protect your wages?
Heck, with COK, not only are they selling out of their longs, they're hammering on the short sales too... the longer you can sustain a market price trend the more "paper" profits you can show and hence earn more fees. It's all too amusing... I have many theories.
