Cash in hand from the Carnilya Hill sale!!!!!!

If they did not sell the 30% share they would not have started making profits until mid year because of CH capital development commitments.

Cash in hand, debt free and now strongly cash flow positive. The words OPPORTUNITY CREATION comes to mind.

The cash in hand and cash flow gives VRE the opportunity to:

    - continue and perhaps intensify targeted exploration in the existing 1500sqk of tenements.

    - seek new aquisitions in the area.

    - establish new lines of credit to fund expansion of these activities.

The management of View have had to make some significant and tough decisions "on the run" in the last 6 months or so and all have resulted in major benefits.

The only major criticism worth argueing is the last share issue to selected holders but we have to comprehend this was a "quid pro quo" to those that participated in the earlier 40 cent issue. The ramp up delays are par for the course in this industry and have been "managed". In the end a ramp up over 8 months when you are developing muliple sources is not that bad in the scheme of things.

Apart from that, the decision to fund closure of hedges and securing fuel at a saving of approx. $200,000 per month are of massive benefit.

With gold at around A$1000 per oz (even with the Aussie dollar strong against the greenback (89c)) 2008 promises to be a very good year for Aussie gold miners.

View Resources has a golden opportunity to move forward quickly and seek expansion NOW. They would not have been in this position with debt and some capital responsibilities for Carnilya Hill still around their neck. I think we will find management have made a sound opportunistic decision in selling off the 30% share.
