What Tobyjack actually questioned a few weeks ago was not the appointment of John Nitschke, but the resignation of Alistair Campbell. Just why Tobyjack, who is an AXE holder, and has no SYR shares, should profess to be concerned about SYR board changes, is an interesting point.
At this stage, the circumstances for IMX have clearly changed, in a direction which would almost inevitably lead to a conflict of interest for John Nitschke. Naturally, he has resigned, so as to resolve the situation. What's new?
Personally, I'm sorry that SYR will lose the skills and industry knowledge of John, but it is a matter for the Board to find a suitable replacement. Given their record to date, I am confident they will. The caravan moves on.
