Even if the profit was half that amount it'd still be a huge boost to the company's prospects. The trend has definitely been in the right direction for iron ore this year so with luck next year the economics of Riley will stack up to allow its exploitation. Overall I'm optimistic that VMS will emerge from hibernation on several fronts in a few months and then everyone will wonder how it sat for so long at this low SP. Even the granting of permits to drill at Greenbushes and Thailand will provide a boost to the SP, with the commencement of any drilling to add further excitement. Basically I just see VMS as a very low risk play at the moment, with a SP double on the cards with very little good news. If I had free cash I'd certainly take a few more now.
