    Sorry Zoops I don't agree.
Will be something we can discuss on Wednesday 28th.
    Possibly at length .... lol.
Suggest that you remind yourself of the average share price
3,2 and 1 year ago and then have a look at now.
The wealth of NWE shareholders is increasing at a much better rate than Superannuation funds, banks and any other investment form you may like to mention.
The issue of options is also a defence against any takeover play as any suitor would have to payout the option holders as well.
The enthusiasm that you are showing in relation to the anticipated share price appreciation is solely as a result of the decisions of this management.
As I said earlier many companies would be gifting the shares to their management.
Our directors are willing to participate together with their shareholders and to put their hand in their own pocket.
We, as shareholders, are not being disadvantaged by the 4 year time frame.
Personally, if the price goes to the higher figures that you mention, and if shrewdcrude's or tui's figures are reached, heaven forbid, then I for one will be too busy celebrating to worry about a poultry 16M shares owned by the directors ..... who will have made me rich.

    regards

    Potter
