I think the problem with GMD has always been the speed of execution.

The project seems to be a good one, with sufficient gold that will probably eventually be proven up, but the directors and management have believed in taking their time, with long gaps of little activity over the past two years, and this is probably because it's been a good regular easy salary for them on a lifestyle basis.

Things do appear to be moving a little faster recently, which is certainly saying something for GMD.

One issue may have been not wanting to raise money for additional drilling while the stock price was so low during 2019.

Anyway, the snail appears to be moving now. So has GMD finally woken up from it's slumber, the long winter over, and hibernation at an end - things look that way, and it's about time too.
