Dr. Christina Lampe-Onnerudserved as an Independent Director of FuelCell Energy, Inc. from November 8, 2018 until March 19, 2019.Dr. Lampe-Onnerud serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cadenza Innovation, Inc. Dr. Lampe-Onnerud founded Boston-Power, Inc. in 2005 and served as its International Chairman. Dr. Lampe-Onnerud served as Chief Executive Officer at Boston-Power, Inc. She served as Executive Chairman of Boston-Power, Inc. Dr. Lampe-Onnerud is one of the world's foremost authorities in battery system innovation and design. Strategy and technology advisor to the global battery industry, she has pioneered the use of lithium-ion and other materials to deliver more powerful, longer lasting, safer and cost-effective batteries for laptops, PDAs, cell phones and other electronic devices. She held an executive position at Bridgewater Associates. Prior to founding Boston-Power, Dr. Lampe-Onnerud was one of the youngest partners ever appointed at Arthur D. Little/TIAX, where she ran its globally- renowned battery labs, defined strategies for the world's top chemical and battery organizations and directed high-profile market evaluations. She was Non-Executive Director of Syrah Resources Limited from May 24, 2016 until March 25, 2019. She serves as a Director at Cadenza Innovation, Inc. Earlier in her career, she served as a Director and Senior Scientist at Bell Communications Research. She has also served as keynote speaker on power issues at industry and government initiatives. Awarded 15 patents in portable power solutions, with 6 patents pending, Dr. Lampe-Onnerud has been recognized among the 100 Top Young Innovators by Technology Review, MIT's Magazine of Innovation. Dr. Lampe-Onnerud earned a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry and a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Calculus from Uppsala University in Sweden and received her Post Doctorate at MIT, Cambridge, Mass.
