Are they high grading the orebody to try and maximise the cash flow because they are a cash stressed company? Or have they realised that they need to increase the head grade (ie mine higher gold grades) because the lower grades are not economic??
I'm amazed that the orebody is so narrow. Perhaps it widens out at depth? Or they have in the picture an unrepresentative orebody. And finally........Look at how much waste mining needs to be done before the next mining level becomes available.
