    Well Bogy,

    There are some definite advantages in having a sloping orebody.

    The mighty DOM has such an orebody and is the 3rd lowest cost producer in Australia.

    In DOM's case part of the reason they can do it so cheaply is they can dispose of the decline waste into the mined out shoot above where they are mining and don't have to bring it to the surface....and there is enough spare space to accept more mine development.
    This will be more advantageous as they go lower.

    Maybe all mines do this ?

    Cash cost of $ 315 per oz.........will TAM do this ?
