The directors accepted the offers to subscribe. I assume that the offerors were perfectly happy to get the shares that they wanted, otherwise they would not have offered to buy them. All shareholders had to opportunity to offer to buy shares.
The directors make their own decisions for their own reasons, many of which are not known to others. The relentless vitriol against the directors is absurd and the arguments put forward are generally substantially lacking in logic.
Some posters seem to think that they know better than the directors. Or maybe they think that the directors ought to consult them before making any decisions. Thank goodness that this is unlikely to happen.
Move on.
