Fair call. I have similar career history and do feel like I have a good understanding of what mean. With out knowing more about you I couldn’t fathom where exactly our views diverge but I’ve never put much stock in the commentary of CEO or directors in relations to their shareholding movement.
Like politicitons, their every action is under a microscope and the implications of any moved made is st the mercy or an imaginative and self serving investor market predjudicing each director and said movements to be exaclty as self serving.
Directors rarely deliver decisive and or human orientated narratives and auditors are rarely happy with or easily accept the narratives with out a full cross examination.
Instead of:
”well after significant consideration and expert advise from blah blah blah”
Why can’t the answer sometime just be:
“SP is skyhigh right guys. I’m cashing out to buy a heaps cool shit I wanted. I’m going on a spree, baby! May even get one of those super expense pet cats with no fur that look all creepy - but yeah, it’s BIZ as usually, we all good up in here for the next quarter”
It probably what I’d do if I woke up one morning with my
coupla-million shares worth 600% on last week.
