They may not get cash but instead receive shares in another company.
Realistically, considering that Adelong is probably not factored into the current share price at all then any decent consideration would be welcommed, whether it be cash, shares or a combination of both.
What we can say is that they should get a lot more than they would have 2 years ago, considering the gold price is on the way up and hitting US$670.
