Yes, it has taken the sting out of its tail. But QGC has had a very good run in the past 12 months and it will continue to grow in solid increments for some time yet imho.

I have bought these for my kids with a 5 year plus investment horizon. My expectation is for a very safe investment with sp growth at the high end for a greenchip (look at the market cap). There is also the strong likelihood of a takeover 3-5 years down the track by AGL at multiples of the current sp.

I bet that they bought back very few shares @ 1.52.
