Bala: I dont understand your question. The director in question made the transaction over the last few days when the SP was ALREADY low. How can he be blamed for the SP fall from $2.80?

Alan: No offence meant to you, even though my reply was added to your post. I know you are a sensible & experienced trader, as well as a long term holder of BMN. But if you re-read the thread you will indeed see numerous ridiculous posts which blamed directors for everything except global warming!

I like Chris place no blame on NM for the Opes debacle. He had a modest margin loan, which many company directors have, and because of that has had his ENTIRE portfolio wiped out ... a multimillion dollar fortune. Yes it affected the BMN share price, yest it affected our holdings. But the slide was well & truly in place & the entire sub-prime problem was smashing every stock ... only EXT seemed to escape in the end. To blame him for BMN's slide is unfair IMO. I personally feel the Savannah issue was the real catalyst, followed by the January market crash.

Well its all past now. The latest director sale & option conversion is a non-issue, and IMO is better done now than later after the SP has run ... in fact I think he deserves kudos for doing it at lower prices when he knows BMN will be much higher later on.

My thoughts ... have a good one
