    He must have an agenda (hidden??) for doing it....
    Perhaps, expecting to buy it back (from freightened holders) at a substantially lower price...
    Who knows what his ultimate aim is.....He is an exceptionally gifted, shrewed manipulator of things....Follow him, and lose will you not!
