Ken has extensive business management experience having held a number of public company directorships and been engaged in the establishment or corporate restructure of technology, mining and oil and gas companies in Canada, Australia, the UK, US, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and the Philippines. Ken completed degrees in Commerce, Jurisprudence and Laws at the University of Western Australia before qualifying as a Barrister and Solicitor specialising in international mergers and acquisitions law.

Ken is Chairman of Brazilian Diamonds Limited, which is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange Plc., Chairman of Hidefield Gold plc and a director of Block Shield Corporation, both of which are listed on AIM. He is also Chairman of Alto Ventures Ltd which is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, and Chairman of Columbus Gold Corporation and Empire Mining Limited.
