The message is not so much how many he bought...
But the fat he was buying at all.
Such things can often be a message to the market (not always), that management feels the share price is too low.
Whethet or not the market (read supporters) respond accordingly is another matter.
The rest of the market will care less for such numbers, caring only for on-screen buying (from supporters), or indeed good news.
