APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS With the acquisition of the Linia Prava Project now complete, the Company is pleased to confirm the addition to the Board of Mr John Hebenton as Managing Director and Mr Ian Macpherson as a Non Executive Director. John Hebenton has been the CEO of Linia Prava for some months and with the completion of the transaction has been appointed Managing Director of the Group. Both Mr Hebenton and Mr Macphersons backgrounds are outlined below. John Hebenton John has over thirty years international experience in the design, project management, construction and commissioning of a diverse range of large scale process plant technologies. John was directly responsible for the establishment of 6 Project and Branch offices in Western Australia including the establishment of many large multi-disciplinary task forces incorporating overseas engineering specialists, resulting in successful turn key completion of many significant projects including unique, first of their kind plants such as Hismelt Kwinana, WA. He was Consortium Project Manager for the implementation of Turkey’s first privately owned resource project in partnership with one of Turkey’s largest construction companies, heading up an international design team in Ankara. In addition to managing projects in Victoria and the Northern Territory, John also held responsibility for feasibility studies, development and management of projects on behalf of global German Technology supplier Lurgi. John has been recruited to perform the role of Managing Director of the Group going forward.
Ian Macpherson Ian is a graduate of the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Ian was admitted as a partner of the firm which became known as KMG Hungerfords in 1986, having built up a specialist practice in the provision of corporate and financial advice to the mining and mineral exploration industry. In 1987 the firm merged with Arthur Andersen & Co. 2 In 1990 Ian established Ord Partners, Chartered Accountants, now practising as Ord Group. Ian has developed the Ord Group practice on a reputation of innovative expertise with a particular focus on corporate advisory services. He has acted as a director and/or company secretary for a number of client companies, assisting them in achieving their optimum capital and financial structure. He has had numerous successes assisting companies to evolve from the conceptual stage through to public listing on the ASX. In addition to corporate finance, Ian has substantial experience in the preparation of detailed Information Memoranda, Pre-Acquisition Reviews, Asset Disposals/Acquisitions and Independent Reports. He holds the following directorships: Chairman - Visiomed Group Limited; Chairman - Talisman Mining Limited; Non Executive Director – Navigator Resources Limited and Non-Executive Director - Coal FE Resources Ltd.
