Maybe the operator wasn't going to have enough staff to continue to do the drill safely over the Xmas break. Sounds to me like what is going on. Which is understandable in my opinion. Hence why first week of January is on the cards.

Maybe they should wait till the second week - and allow the operators and staff to recover from their hang-overs, and therefore do things safely.
