I'm sorry but I just see a conspiracy in all this.
Yes, its true though, why wouldn't they be buying up at these prices? My problem is that "they" do not seem to be helping the sp at the moment and some are taking advantage of the sp slump to accumulate.
Lets look at the evidence. First, they forecast more income than they could prudently predict in this environment. A natural enough mistake you might say.
Second, they announce a dividend will be made, then a month later say that "under the current circumstances" a dividend will not be made. Again, a natural enough outcome - or so many have commented.
Now, its seems WHAS has just announced that they have purchased 1,153,000 shares on market at 13c. If you have been watching CQU, you would know that 13c is about rock bottom and that the volumes per day have not been that great. Again a natural enough outcome - accumulate on weakness.
Obviously, WHAS see value in CQU, but CQU management have done nothing to further promote or "educate" SH's and the public about its true value. In any case, CQU management continue to accumulate on the current sp weakness - a clear sign that directors are confident of CQU's future but it leaves with me a feeling that there is a conflict of interest.
I hold until the sp rebounds.
