while I can't claim success for my earlier postings of trying to pick the bottom, just in the last two days it does seem that the sellers may have run out of puff and the buyers feel stronger. The total buyer volume exceeds the sellers for the first time in many months. Also previously if you put a bid in at the last sale price level, you got taken out immediately and that is not happening now.

There does also seem to be a bit of recovery among some of the other mining service companies. Macmahons is actually worth more to shareholders now than it was prior to the announcement of their rights issue because of the value of the ex rights entitlement. GCS is at its highest price for three and a half months.

Dare I try and pick the bottom for a second time? I did pick up some at 44c.
