Directors' buying

Just checked on marketindex.com.au Directors' Transactions. They publish the on-market share transactions made by company directors of every ASX listed company. They make some good points for newbie investors like me.

Monitoring directors holdings is based on the theory that no one buys in a company expecting the share price to fall.

By uncovering who's buying and selling shares in the company, Australian investors can extend their scope of research beyond fundamental and technical analysis.

The last company I held was a complete dud and the only time I ever recall seeing an "Appendix 3y" was to announce management selling. I hope the three recent purchases are a good omen going forward for all Perseus shareholders. Good to see Bohm, Carson and Harvey have some skin in the game. It gives me some confidence going forward. Fingers crossed.
