Keen to know from anyone in the know about comparable Directors Fees in respect to PLS
AGM notice has recommended Non Exec Directors Fees be increased from $400,000 to $750,000. Now, I know we are about to enter an exciting new phase and the regulatory issues and level of knowledge/skill/experience etc of the NE Directors is paramount to a well run company - so not whinging at all, simply because I do not know if the $400K was a low base to start with. The 87.5% increase is steep though, but again - is it relative?
I am all for paying what is needed to get the right people to grow this company and I hope they all get their rewards, in salary and options - if they deliver - but I have also been a shareholder in companies that have paid very large salaries to directors and I have ended up with a tax write off, if I'm lucky.
Any comments?
