What I havent seen in the discussion so far is that this is for NON-EXECUTIVE and therefore they are not fulltime but have a role when the board meets or in specific sub-committees. These are rarely fulltime commitments and many Non-Exec board members are on multiple boards, receiving director fees from multiple companies.
