directors interest notice

I see that a directors notice came out during the week.
Geoff Gander disposed 100,000 shares at 40cents. Do you think he needed the money so that he could convert his options early.
I have also heard a rumour that Geoff is overseas at the moment. He is in Germany and this is where all the buying is coming from. Has anybody else heard this.
