Being a public company Crowds financials are available for all to see, EMPLOYEES included. $2 mil in cost savings doesn't come without some hurt & disquiet within a company. A 10% cut to the boards remuneration could be viewed as arrogantly defiant. It displays poor leadership,lacking accountability, commitment and responsibility. How can Dom stand in front of a team asking them to be fully engaged and go the extra mile when his company draining salary is the elephant in the room.If you are trying to run a team show some solidarity and take a hit. Dom should lose his secondment premium of approx $200,000 p/a it could be put to better use elsewhere, and it sets an example and shows sacrifice. This isn't taking food off his table stuff, it is a excessive premium that wreaks of a cash grab. Alas I think it's too late in the day to be counselling LEADERSHIP!
